However, they may be times when their body resist the medication for the illness. If this ever happens, they will have to find means on how they can help reverse insulin resistance.

If the medication prescribed to the person is already useless, the person should know some tips which is helpful for the body. With these tips, the person can depend again on medication if it is really successful. The person can easily avoid any worst case scenario from happening. Here are the tips one should consider.

Exercise. It is only appropriate for the person to look for some exercise routine that the body can do in order to keep it fit. If the person exercises, this will certainly improve the sensitivity of one's muscle cells toward the medicine. More than that, it also aids with the burning of the excess fats in one's body.

Diet. This is another factor that will be a boon or bane to one's condition. The person's diet should be one which strictly monitors one's sugar intake. The person will have to make sure that the body's blood sugar level does not exceed the appropriate amount, after all. If the person has a diet plan, it will be easier.

Not only with sugar intake, the person will also have to be aware of his or her caffeine intake. Be aware of how much caffeine the body is digesting . It is actually known nowadays that caffeine is also related to the resistance that people's body builds up towards the medication used for treating diabetes.

The person should also consider sleeping properly. Adequate sleep is necessary for those people who are sick, regardless of whether they are suffering from diabetes or not. If possible, the person should make sure to get at least seven hours of sleep every night. This is a standard sleep time for every adult, after all.

If the person is already suffering from sleeping diseases such as sleep apnea, then they should remember to have their conditions evaluated and treated. The person will have to follow the prescriptions of the doctor for this so that the body will be kept healthy. This also helps fight the illness that one has.

De-stress. Stress is one of the many factors for the body's weakness. That is the reason why it is recommended for people to de-stress every once in a while. They should also learn to recognize the things that cause them stress. If they do, then they can either eliminate these things or adjust their attitude towards them.

It is necessary to know these things when it comes to helping reverse insulin resistance. If the person does not do this, the body will not be able to receive medication for the diabetes. It will be painful for the one who have the illness. The person should make sure to do this so that one can fight off the said illness easily.
