The Worst Food items on the Planet!

By Vanessa Summer

There are many food items out there that, even though they taste good, are very very bad for you. Some of these meals are instantly recognizable: fast food, to use one example, is quite tasty but loaded with calories and other things that will damage our bodies in major ways. But what about those foods that look like they should be totally fine to eat? What about a lot of the meals you give your kids? In this article we will be looking at some of the absolute worst type of foods that you could ever feed to yourself or other people in your family.

Just about one of the worst elements in the world, which is kind of a big surprise, is macaroni and cheese. While the produce at home on your own variant from Kraft or Annie's is fairly benign, the mac and cheese you get at a restaurant usually is not. The Kids Mac and Cheese supper that you buy in California Pizza Kitchen, to apply one example, is incredibly bad! This just one dish is made up of over a thousand calories, over sixteen hundred milligrams of sodium and nearly forty grams of saturated fat! No portion of that is truly nutritious.

How often have you ordered one of those frozen pot pies from your grocery store? These appear to be quasi-healthy eleventh hour dinners but the truth is that they are loaded with unnecessary calories. Stouffer's pot pies, to apply one example, store over eleven hundred calories, sixty grams of fat and just about eighteen hundred milligrams of sodium. If you're on a mission to get rid of weight, this one item could count for almost all of your daily calorie limit.

You are probably under the sense that if you are going to have something from a sandwich shop, the vegetarian sandwich is your healthiest option, right? The simple fact is that due to the dressings and also other condiments that get added to them, they are often just as bad as something loaded with meat. When you buy a vegetarian sandwich from Blimpies (as an example), you will be ordering nearly twelve hundred calories, sixty grams of fat and more than thirty five hundred milligrams of sodium. How would that ever possibly be thought of as healthy?

A salad must be healthy, right? That's precisely what many of us think. When we would like some thing fast and healthy we usually turn toward a salad to fill us up with food that is good for us. You will probably be astonished to find out, then, that there are some salads that are quite unhealthy. TGI Fridays's Santa Fe chopped salad, to work with one example, contains almost eighteen hundred calories. This is most likely because of the fact that it is the size of a large dinner plate but, seriously: do you want all of your daily calorie intake to come from a single dinner salad?

The fact is that almost all of the food that we purchase on the go or in restaurants is simply not going to be as good for us as the food we make ourselves. Cooking at home might feel boring or irritating but if you are trying to lose weight and get healthy, this is the best thing that you can do for yourself.
